brunch: 2 monterey bean & cheese burritos and a jose` ole` egg+sausage breakfast burrito, all splashed with tabasco.

lunch: 1 ea. checker's spicy chicken and crispy fish sammiches

dinner: 1 can of del monte chunky mixed fruit in hvy syrup (some corn syrup but not HFCS), maybe a half cup of unsweetened applesauce, and another half cup of full-fat plain yogurt.

Funny thing on the applesauce shelves, among several brands there were "cinnamon" (sweetened with HFCS), unsweetened, and "old fashioned" (also sweetened with HFCS). Since when is high fructose corn syrup "old fashioned"? I'm guessing old-fashioned referred to a chunkier consistency.

1 cup each of frozen broccoli crowns, chopped leaf spinach, and collard greens, mixed and steamed over 3 cups of water. Two 1.5-cup bags of Success whole-grain brown 10-minute rice, constituted with the veggie water from steaming greens, with a level teaspoon of Maggi beef boullion thrown in. I couldn't even taste the boullion, 1 tsp per bag of dry rice might be a minimum. Steamed greens served with a generous spoonful of Classico garlic/basil pesto per cup, rice tossed with a can each of black beans and chickpeas and probably good for 3 meals.

el monterey bean+cheese burritos, 3 at a time would be perfect, too bad they come 8 to a bag.

Bumble Bee boneless skinless canned pink salmon, wet out with a dollop of Ken's caesar salad dressing, on Pepperidge Farms "Ancient Grains" whole-grain bread, with some V-8 spicy vegetable juice.

half a quart of gatorade (classic antifreeze color), a spoonful of baking soda in a cup of cold water, a large coffee (cream no sugar), a plain dunkins bagel. Just a little dehydrated this morning.

Grouper and scallops, seasoned with cayenne and black pepper, over that overworked rice. The grouper came out kinda rubbery, I wasn't impressed. I made another batch of rice with just water from steamed greens, it came out much better.
